I love this shot

This is from a tournament a few weeks ago, Emma is trying to make the select team with our local soccer club.  She has really found her spot this year, it's so fun to watch her success.

Coordinates Collections April Add-ons

These are the additional add-ons that are available for purchase.  There are always several possibilities to step up your kit at your comfort-price-level.  Although, I usually want them all!

I've been designing for Coordinates Collections kit club for over 3 years - and this month is one of the most fabulous I've seen!  If you've been on the fence about a kit club, come check us out - March was sold out but I believe there will be a few April subscriptions available.  These are the gorgeous selections this month:

So let's see if I can make a go at this thing

My mom is in town visiting this weekend.  Her flight was delayed on Friday night, so we made a quick stop at Panda Express on the way home and called it a night.  Yesterday Emma had an indoor soccer game (which I missed, because I was getting my hair colored & cut) but she scored 4 goals!  She is on fire!  We went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant last night with the Robillards, Stanley & Seafort's Steak & Chop house, and maaaaaan did we all overeat!  The boys had prime rib, I had a bone-in ribeye with crab & bernaise on top, and Tracy had stuffed tilapia - not including all the hot crab & artichoke dip we ate before that :)

Today is an outdoor soccer game with the development team that Emma has been working with ( and the team she's hoping to make after tryouts in May) - and so far the sun is out!  Last week of the soccer skills clinic from 6pm-8pm thank goodness, and then we're off to another week of regularly scheduled programs.

Here are a few pics I took of Emma last week.  She got this cute shirt for Valentines Day and bugged me for over a week to get black Converse tennis shoes - apparently they're all the rage at her Christian school - lol :)

Home again

We're back from our trip to sunny California.  Well, it didn't start off sunny - it was only 60 for a high w/cloudy skies, but by the time we left today it was almost 80!  We enjoyed wearing our shorts and swimming at the hotel's heated pool.  We did Disneyland, California Adventure, Wild Animal park in San Diego, saw Kristin/Jeff and their boys in San Marcos, hung out with my cousin Debbie and her family, saw Dan and his family and my aunt and uncle too.  It was the best.  Very relaxing, Emma and the boys got along so well... like they just saw each other yesterday - only it was 2 1/2 years ago.

I had a blast at my scrapbooking convention too - reconnected with my girls from PA and UT, we had a blast - already planning next year's trips to coincide with bringing our families down again.

Project 365

We're relatively late to enter the blogging world, but better late than never I guess.  I hope it will be a great way to journal our lives, and share with friends and family our latest adventures.  One of my scrapbooking projects this year is an album called "Project 365".  It is a pre-made kit that you slip photos and journaling cards into, taking a photo each day, documenting week by week. Carl and Emma are committed to this journey as well, and we are keeping a notebook on the counter to record each day's events.  I'll post some photos of the first two weeks a bit later, and then my plan is to update this blog weekly with new photos and entries.

Week 1 included: snow, dinners out, back to work/school for Carl and Emma, flooding, shopping with Christmas gift cards, soccer games.
